"A really nice place, booked but didn't need to. Service was attentive without being over-powering, just as it should be. Food choices were excellent. Will definitely return. "Beyond expectation for a cafe. Greeting, attention to detail warm and welcome. Quality of produce, sausages locally sourced . Stopped for a late brunch, coffee lush ,and a nice pot of tea for the wife. Sausage and bacon roll for us both. We both needed knife and fork, and didn’t need lunch. Don’t pass this lovely place bye."

"Since moving into the area 18 months ago we have tried many local restaurants but this is without doubt our favouriteWe have eaten here many times and the standard of the food ,which is excellent,has never slipped.The interior is a centuries old building,that offers a warm homely relaxed atmosphere,Service is prompt and efficient and the dishes from a small menu,lovely. Some restaurants overwhelm you with large portions and huge menus,but Bakers Arms have got both just right,, I would not say it is cheap,BUT if you want a proper dining experience with top quality produce cooked to perfection then this is for you."

"What a great find. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food is excellent, offering all local produce. The different meat dishes were all looking very tasty. To start, we had the charcuterie, with various pickles, absolutely delicious. I had the 'pub pie ', which was beef and Stilton, my wife had the deer steak. Both were beautifully cooked and presented. The pub offers a number of smoked meats for sale, which they produce themselves. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would thoroughly recommend The Kings Arms for excellent food and atmosphere."

"A Sam Smiths pub this is a no frills boozer. Great service and friendly staff. They do food but we only had a drink. Lots of space to sit. Nice place to have a drink"
