I think we come on a busy time, but didn't mind to wait. I will advise ordering over the phone, then just come to collect. We enjoyed every bite of traditional Chinese food. I think the bad reviews are only from people who don't specially fancy oriental cuisine. View all feedback.

read moreBala New China Takeaway offers a mixed experience, with some diners praising the friendly service and delicious options like Sweet Sour Chicken and Special Chow Mein. Others, however, caution against anything fried or sauced, advising to keep orders simple. Complaints range from inedible dishes to bizarre mix-ups. Despite this, some patrons find the portions generous and flavors on point, labeling it as top 3 Chinese takeaways they've tried. So if you're in Dolgellau, consider giving this local spot a chance - just keep expectations in check and order wisely. Cash only, but the warm service might just make it worth a visit.
