"Unquestionably the cleanest and friendliest cafe in town, if not the world, with the tastiest Welsh Cakes ever. Well done to the owners and staff."

"Outstanding. We went to celebrate a family occasion. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant until we left, the staff were welcoming and attentive. The food was superb. We had plaice (which was massive! and roast beef. The food impeccably served (we ate it too fast to photograph it . The views are breathtaking. Thank you very much to everyone at Portmeirion for taking care of us. We can't wait to go again."

"We visited this little restaurant last night and had a fabulous tapas meal. The staff were helpful and efficient and the food was delicious. We shared 6 tapas meals between 3 of us plus a bowl of patatas bravas and this was the perfect amount...."

"We visited the Torrent Walk twice, lovely atmosphere inside out. First visit the kitchen was about to close however they made the time and served us a delicious pie of the day (great filling, proper mash great selection of veg) burger for my 15yr old. Both were excellent. With a great selection of beer food we visited, once again top notch. Throughly recommended for families."

"The food was excellent without holding back on portion sizes. Service was friendly and prompt. Little things hold this back from being a 5 star experience- overly bright lighting, basic decor and attention to detail with service. Would recommend for a couples meal out."

"Very informal and friendly. Young enthusiastic staff with a start up vibe. Tasteful music from previous decades. Quick service despite being busy amazingly so considering dire autumn weather and quiet seafront. We had a seafood selection, not cheap but very fresh, mostly local and skillfully prepared."

"This was our first visit for several years and it did not disappoint. We were greeted and served throughout by friendly, charming but professional staff. The food was excellent. My starter of burrata with Waldorf salad was very small but actually the perfect size for a 3 course meal. I do wish though that I had followed my dining companions and ordered the cauliflower soup it looked wonderful, garnished beautifully, and the accompanying beignet was nothing short of heavenly. I stole a tiny piece and could happily have eaten a large plate full. My friends all chose roast beef for their mains Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, tender beef cooked medium rare. I chose the gilt head bream, which was perfectly cooked with a crispy skin. It was accompanied by tenderstem broccoli and delicious cubes of beetroot gnocchi. Vegetable accompaniments were broccoli and cauliflower cheese, carrots and mashed potato. I chose the treacle tart with Penderyn whisky ice cream for dessert the tart was as light as a feather and not over sweet, but the star was the whisky ice cream, like velvet with a big whisky hit. The meal for 4, with 1 pint of beer and 3 glasses of wine, plus service charge, was £186. This included free entry into Portmeirion village. We were catching up with friends and really appreciated the fact that, once seated, there was no pressure whatsoever to eat up and leave. That's one of the many things we love about this place professional, attentive but also relaxed. I admit I was prepared to be disappointed so many restaurants have declined since Covid but it was a very special experience. We will be returning soon."
