Sometime ago I had pan fried skate. This was the year when they won Gastro Pub of the Year award. It was beautifully crispy and I have never found the equivalent elsewhere. Unfortunately the chef has changed and I can't say that one will find the same quality today. View all feedback.

Very disappointed experience at lunch today. We ordered roast lunch. The vegetables were overcooked and there was a total lack of green. The Yorkshire pudding was burnt and the crackling was hard as hell. Finishing with this sort of sticky toffee pudding.. which it was more a sundae than a pudding.
