great ambiente and authentic for a small sweet quarter coffee place. fresh and tasty! not like th or sbucks, which is “fresh/frozen/massy production/bland snacks”! local jo has great cappuccinos sandwiches. nice staff too. easy to park near. if I'm in the city of the city (I really would rather be here on the way to the house for my "coffee for the road" than somewhere else. What Snova Husk doesn't like about Local Jo Cafe Market:
So, it been a minute since I have gone to LJ, but that is good for a good reason. Everything is bland, that is all I can see. “OMG, the vibe… is great.” It has one of those rustic looks, like a old nice look, but to me it just feels cheep. This goes down in my list of bad Halifax cafés. View all feedback.
Cheddar scone was so yummy with lots of pepper and butter! Good coffee and kind service : cute spot for a quick snack and not too busy
Love this spot, always a friendly conversation and a well brewed mocha!
