On my recent trip to Halifax I stopped in here twice. The first time was a random pop in. I was staying nearby at the Westin and saw this place as I started my walking tour of the city. The atmosphere was welcoming and I saw they had my favourite drink on the menu, London Fog. What Rowland Metz doesn't like about Uncommon Grounds:
It was great to be able to get something to eat on a Monday morning when a lot of places have nothing but breakfast menus. I detest eggs, sausages, pancakes, and porridge. Uncommon Ground fulfilled that need for a non-breakfast menu. The tuna sandwich was somewhat dry and bland, but edible. I didn't try their coffee. For me, coffee is mainly an after-supper dessert, with lots of cream and sugar. View all feedback.
Great coffee and baked goods!
I drink mostly decaffeinated coffee so I'm quite picky. These guys have the best in town! Laid back environment with free wifi what else do you need?
Make sure you try the granola bars.
Went here often for a triple cappuccino. They also have amazing granola bars to go along with. A great place to relax and enjoy the WiFi.
