Plenty - Hambleton

The staff at the restaurant handled a difficult situation with grace today. A tall, aggressive man began shouting and demanding to be referred to as a woman, despite his obvious gender. The staff remained calm, served him his food that he had ordered earlier, and swiftly escorted him out of the restaurant. Their professionalism was greatly appreciated.

Really like this place. Highly recommend the salad boxes or the soup it can get quite busy at times. Friendly chatty staff.

I was going in to order 4 ham and cheese toastie sandwiches and when they were ready they shouted me and said man in the red shoes first of all I 'm not a man I 'm a woman and second of all I don 't think ill be coming back here again not unless they apologise to my face I am writing this while I have the balls to sit inside their own shop waiting for food poor customer service 1 star

We came to the shop and asked for 2 coffee and 2 cakes they told us the close in 30 mins so we couldn’t have cups or plates just paper cups and plates because they don’t want to do any more washing up … so rude to another customer who waited 15 minutes to be served to be told it was to late for food… never returning

We had lunch at Plenty and it did not disappoint. The staff was great and the outdoor tables in the sunshine were clean and well-placed. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented and delicious. The Tuna, Cheese, and Red Onion Toastie was full of flavor and well-prepared. My wife's Tuna and Salad Long Brown roll was also packed with tasty ingredients, so much so that she thanked the owner for the quality of the roll before leaving, praising him for serving one of the best lunches she has had from a cafe or sandwich shop. Congratulations to everyone at Plenty, we will definitely be back. Thank you!
