Burnt Tongue is one of the best budget friendly places to eat in Hamilton. While officially a soup place, their burgers are some of the best you'll find. Nothing fancy, but insanely delicious. Their frites served with Belgian mayo or curry ketchup cannot be beat. The soup menu changes daily, so check online at Facebook or instagram to see what's available. Popular ones may run out before evening though, so move quick... View all feedback.

Today I ordered a cherry arugula salad for lunch which cost 9$. The photos on Instagram showed a beautiful bountiful salad when I ordered the salad to go a received an extremely small portion 2 or 3 mouthfuls at most. I understand that they are offering high quality ingredients but I rather spend my money elsewhere where the quality is the same and actually receive a salad that is filling. Very disappointing as I am... View all feedback.
We visited this place with the family. they have to order and pay first and eat is brought to them. the place has a beautiful rustic feeling and ambiente. we ordered the grilled halloumi burger, who was a bit tasty on the smaller side....We also had the curry kossuppe, which had an interesting taste but was good. we commanded apfel to go with him and wish they had cut it and presented it. everyone has orthodontic treatment today and cannot bite in apples also the chicken-Lasagne soup was good. it was served with a small bread, but no butter. for the prizes a small touch goes far today.
I love going into the burnt tongue so a suppe during the winter season. I visit the site westdale, which seems to be a larger selection of suppening. the lock st location is beautiful because it has seating areas to enjoy its suppe....All their suppen are fantastic, my personal favorite is the samosa suppe. the fries were also delicious! it is a little expensive for suppe, but its a beautiful tasty.
I had expected this place to have great suppe. I was several times and was unimpressed every time. the prices are high considering that the proportions are small and not satisfactory.
The suppen in burnt tongue are kreatiw and absolutely delicious. a small place to eat, so can be recommended. the salads and the suppen add are hearty, healthy options to keep them full of quality products. will be back.
We were touring through Hamilton and were in the mood for a good soup and sandwich. Sooo happy we happened upon Burnt Tongue. The mushroom tarragon soup was to die for, the Mrs. raved about the cauliflower carrot coconut soup. The bread on the sandwiches...was so fresh and tasty. The burgers were very tasty. We’ll be back when we come this way again.
