"Excellent food and great service. My partner had the steamed barramundi, which was very tasty. The fish was tender, and the ginger sauce paired really well with it, it’s a perfect dish if you feel like eating something light. On the other hand, the seafood bouillabaisse was really filling, but absolutely delicious! It was packed with delicious garlicky seafood flavours. One of my favourite meal in Hamilton Island, but definitely come hungry as it’s a lot! Overall, we had an amazing experience and would recommend Manta Ray! Make sure to book a table ahead as it is easily booked out in peak period."

"What we hoped to be a romantic evening was spoiled by an over priced menu for the quality of meals ordered. We are a mature couple and well travelled. As a result we are qualified to provide the following critique. We ordered the whole snapper and the whiting dishes. First the snapper was under sized and at $56, extremely expensive. It was over cooked and was poorly presented with only a bunch of garlic accompanying it. Second the Whiting at $42 was overcooked and the serving very small To be clear, we don't mind expensive meals providing we get value. This restaurant has a long way to go if it is to provide value. Finally the background music reminded us of elevator music. Management would greatly assist in this regard by investing in a Spotify account, or something similar, for some appropriate dinner music.On a positive note the staff were professional and friendly. And the views of the Marina from the restaurant were exceptional. I would be happy for management to contact me to discuss our very unhappy experience."

"This was our favourite meal on Hamilton Island, the steaks were perfectly cooked to our liking (medium) with a generous side of potatoes and steamed garlic veggies. Be warned though, it was a LONG wait for food. We arrived at 6.30pm, waited about 20 minutes to be seated and about an hour for food, which they did advise us. But we had great views of the marina and were happy to sit and enjoy a drink. If you don't have kids it might be worth eating a bit later, maybe 8pm to avoid the queues."

"This is a quick process, we didn't do breakfast and paid for the photo and we were delighted with the quick process, professional staff and wonderful experience. If you want to get up close and personal with one of Australia's cutest animals this is the way to do it. The staff were fantastic."
