What gamingwith kitty (Googly cat) doesn't like about The Wheel Family Restaurant:
The level of service here varies greatly. I come often and the whole dinner can be empty and the waitress will stand at the counter talking for 20 minutes. Somedays it is prompt service. You never know what you will get here. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $50–100 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 View all feedback. What Elwin Walsh likes about The Wheel Family Restaurant:
I had a tasty Cajun Catfish dinner, which included soup, salad but they forgot to give our table bread. (Not that I really needed the calories) Even my 4 yr old grandson ate his meal without a problem. They gave him lidded cups for both his water and juice. Pleasant staff. View all feedback.

Some customers have complained about inconsistent service, while others have praised the friendly and efficient staff. The food, however, seems to be a highlight for many, with dishes like Cajun Catfish, stuffed French toast, frittata with chorizo, and gyro omelette receiving positive feedback. The menu is described as diverse, with breakfast deals available all day and Lenten specials. The atmosphere is generally rated positively, with a bright and welcoming interior. In terms of service, attentive staff members like Sara and Susan have been specifically mentioned for their great service. Overall, this restaurant appears to be a hidden gem in the near south suburbs of Chicago, offering homemade dishes, delicious food, and a wide range of options for customers to choose from.
