"Loved this island BBQ joint. Great no frills BBQ. Delicious flavor on all the items that we had. The chicken and ribs were tender and tasty. The definite star of the meal was the loaded fries! So awesome! Loaded with cheese, cilantro sauce, pico de gallo, and chicken (you choose the meat). I?d go back just for those! The employees were great too. Explained the menu and choices, and made suggestions."

"The staff was excellent and very friendly. I feel bad to leave a critical review because I'm not a food identifier. That said a few plates didn't inspire me. Steak cabob and honeycomb. The honey had a bitter aftertaste that could have been the intention of the court. The steaks seemed overcooked. But enough criticism! The cheesecake stole the show! Probably the best cheese cake I've ever eaten. Overall, this was a good experience that I would recommend to everyone on the island."

"Fast service, good Macadamia Nut ice shake. After a mistake, I have a 2 for 1 shake. Partitur! Shave ice was not the best I had here, but it did the job and still good. He kept me cool on a hot day. The facility is quite small and opposite the Ching Young Shopping Mall. Parking is adjacent and about 2 minutes walk. A good fast shaving ice as a whole."

"Best dinner we’ve had all week and really glad we got the chance to come in! We had the veggie tempura roll (super good), ahi poke, fish n chips, fish tacos, fish sandwich, and a few drinks. Everything was delicious. Owner and his team are all really friendly. He sat down and told us stories of the last few years in Kauai. Definitely must go if you’re looking for somewhere that has amazing food and service and isn’t overwhelmingly crowded like the downtown hanalei spots, plus it’s right on the water. One of the highlights of this week!"

"Really good place. We sat at the bar. Bartender was very friendly and attentive. I had one Bikini Blonde beer and it was very tasty. Then the Bartender made me a lemonade alcohol drink. It was delicious and perfectly balanced. I ended up having 2. Lunch was good. Dont recall the name of my sandwich, but it was perfect size and tasted good. Just visiting, but I'd definitely come back if I return to town."

"Atmosphere and service were perfectly nice but the food was disappointing. I had the chashu ramen. The noodles were fine, but the broth was severely lacking calling it subtle would be kind. The pork was overly thick, something that seems to be common in American ramen, and completely flavorless. The mushrooms added the only point of interest to an otherwise boring dish.My wife had the vegetable bowl and it was also quite bland."
