"Once again we weren’t disappointed, after the devastation of COVID to the hospitality industry we decided to revisit the Greyhound. We had a lovely stay, the hotel itself is extremely quirky. Full of history, if you’re after character this is your place! We had a good meal in the bar area and the staff were pleasant. Thanks for another lovely stay all."

"Before we had been seated or greeted we were told that the table was needed by 7:30. Thought food was mediocre and could have been more authentic. Overall it was an OK experience, but feel their could be quite a few improvements to the restaurant, service and food."

"We were passing through the area and felt a bit peckish so I opened Tripadvisor and used the Nearby tool to find somewhere for lunch. Turns out we were right by the Joiners Arms Result! We were welcomed by a very friendly man and...the waitress and were served very quickly with Crispy Squid and Blue cheese avocado starters. Really lovely, tasty and incredibly fresh ingredients. Main courses were Sea Bass and Pheasant again fantastically well done. We left quickly, as we had to get back to pick up various of our kids from school, work etc, so although it was a flying visit this time, it will not be the last time we eat here. Worth travelling out of the way for."
