we visited the golden Shield-Wilde on a canal holiday at the nearby canal grande union. this is a nice pub with friendly staff. we could order a meal to be delivered (kovidende reasons) that was met and delicious. inside was clean and well decorated and above all a beautiful pint! A cold restaurant and on mentioning this the landlady became quite aggressive in her approach. No menu except on blackboards. I didn't mention regarding the quality of the food burnt garlic bread and also burnt lasagne and the chips were overly greasy as they had been cooked several times.
