How can you give them less than 4 stars? service was great, eating was very good and the intention was to die. the young ladies running the window were funny and very friendly. make sure to leave something extra in their drinking money. if I could, I'd be back in this week, but because I can't live in a country far away. the dampers and lobsters were only achsant. First I have to say that the staff are VERY nice and helpful. Unfortunately the food is not as good. All the fried foods we ordered were 1. overcooked or charred, 2. incredibly greasy. I mean there was a POOL of oil in the container. It was nauseating to eat. On the other hand, the non-fried items were fine, e.g., lobster rolls and a hot dog.. but how can you ruin a hot dog? wow. this is a classic, beautiful Maine-Wharf view of its best. they take credit cards now, which is a big plus. many elements in the menu that is.
the prospects are breathtaking and the pommes were good. but when they go here, they don't get fried fish. the brot is overwhelming, tasteless and so thick it.
