"Der Aufstieg ist besonders bei schmelzendem Schnee etwas anstrengend - aber man wird mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht und gutem Essen (die besten Kärntner Kasnudeln, die ich je irgendwo gegessen habe!) belohnt. Letztes Jahr haben wir es leider nicht geschafft, uns hinaufzukämpfen - aber diesen März kommen wir auf jeden Fall!"

"We have eaten at Bärenwirt three times now and every time has been exceptional. You can choose between traditional Austrian specialities or the chef's own more modern creations. Everything is freshly prepared from scratch with mostly local ingredients and a huge amount of effort is...put into the food and many components (oxymel, distilled medlar juice etc. you would never find anywhere else. The service is friendly and knowledgable and all this for 34 euros for three courses! The owners have also recently renovated an old house on the opposite side of the square to the restaurant which has beautiful rooms to rent and a delicatessen and cookery school on the ground floor."

"We stayed here for breakfast twice. warm and cozy chalet style, able to give a relaxing and domestic atmosphere to the customer. sweets all of excellent invoice (especially yeast) from genuine and enveloping flavors. courteous service and celery. a necessary stage in these areas."

"The closing station has become a place of refreshment for cyclists along the cycle path alpe adria, suggestive and pleasant. The girls who manage it are good and friendly. They also set up a small botanical garden and in the outdoor space there are tables and chairs to relax in the sun. it would be nice to be able to stop for the night even now, but it would be a little cold without heating."

"Midden in Hermagor ligt deze Konditorei. Als het even kan heerlijk in het zonnetje een kopje koffie of thee drinken. Met een grote keuze uit heerlijk eigen gemaakt gebak. Ook is er de mogelijkheid om een lunch te gebruiken of een drankje (Aperol gespritzte)."
