That was really a nice pub. everything was pleasant. the location, the music, the decor, the atmosphere, the eating, the service and the price. excellent quality eating. we will travel back over an hour because it is really worth the trip for eating alone. View all feedback.

What FarAway05074294111 doesn't like about The Railway:
As I had done many time in the past I had the cod and chips option for lunch. I was disappointed to discover it now comes with deep fat fryer scraps scattered over the meal. They are supposedly salt and vinegar flavour but this was hard to detect. The abundance of fat was easy to detect however. Sadly the scraps were scattered over the fish but also through the peas.
