"Could not be better. The food is just like you’d get in Mexico. The owners are very friendly. My wife and I are in High river for three days and have eaten 3 times at Rio Alto. Highly recommend."

"When there's an awesome choice of real restaurants in Okotoks why bother going here? Food is just bland precooked mush and fried slop. Plaka Greek restaurant is a stones throw from here and outstanding compared to this place."

"I ordered their haddock and chips and an extra order of chips (takeaway on my way home tonight. I picked it up and it was ready on time. I then drove less than three minutes back to my destination. When I got it home and...opened it up it was one heaping pile of a soggy greasy mess. Not only did I pay too dollar for this meal, I added a 20% tip! Over $30.00! Can you imagine the disappointment? I called them to let them know why I wasn’t happy with the food that there are two main reasons for fish and chips to come out like that: old cooking fat/oil or temperature of the oil is too low. (My family owned restaurants on and off over the years. My dad was a cook. We know about these things. The clerk who answered the phone didn’t seem to care. She said it was because of the way the food was wrapped (seriously , and it was out of her hands. I would not recommend wasting your money at the British Chippy. There is nothing remotely similar to traditional British fish and chips."

"Had a lovely Sunday brunch here today, food was excellent, abundant and nicely presented. Brianne was one of our servers and she was bubbly and attentive! We also were kindly comped a free round on the mini golf by the Golf Pro Greg, the 4 of us had fun and will be back. Highly recommend for a Sunday brunch and some family time!"

"Plaza is a small but personal restaurant. Our waiter greeted us, and throughout our time, she was attentive but never overbearing. Our food came in a timely manner, which was excellent. We were never rushed.My only issue was limited parking, but with a full restaurant, what do you expect .We will be back"
