This is a wonderful location with excellent service.I happened to be driving past by chance and stopped in. I was surprised it had vegan options, and so glad to see it on here. The server I had happened to vegan! I had a vegan muffin with mango icing and a turmeric latte with a shot of coffee on oat milk. Both were very delicious. Recommend as a little stop over the view is also stunning. Updated from previous review... View all feedback.
What andiesk doesn't like about Bog Myrtle Skye:
The place itself is very eclectic and quaint, I would happily sit there all day drinking tea and reading. Unfortunately the vegan options weren't great for breakfast, it was just toast with either patte or peanut butter. Bit disappointed and left hungry. Also no vegan cakes. Many vegan options and helpful staff, the homemade pizzas were fantastic! more peaceful space and beautiful to browse the books. reasonable prices.
Amazing roadside find with lots of interesting books and outstanding coffee and lentil soup. Would have stayed longer had it not been so warm!
Loved our stop here, a quirky sun filled space surrounded by book shelves, reminded me of an old school library. Friendly staff, basic vegan options nicely prepared. I had home made beans on toast and delicious oat milk chai latte.
The place itself is very eclectic and original, I would like to drink and read there all day. Unfortunately, the vegan options were not good to breakfast, it was only too toast with patte or erdnussbutter. somewhat disappointed and hungry. no vegan cakes. updated by previous review on 2021-09-27
I wanted to love this place, and in many respects it is beautiful. the decor is vintage, sitting and outsight are wonderful, the old books fascinating. However, I chose this place because of its vegan offers and on the morning it was very limited availability. no homemade smoky beans, no homemade peanut butter, no turbulent latte. to breakfast, the limited options for a vegan. I had wonderful homemade sour dough, but for the price of £3.95, I expected more than one disc. I had a fabulous cocose and chocolate vegan cake and beautiful coffee. server was also not very knowledgeable about the place. I'd try again, because that was probably a free day. photos show the potential of this caffe that I think.
