"I have whipped a morning coffee and examined the journey from the main road in contin. could not be satisfied anymore! excellent location, fantastic view. good coffee with home made shortbread and Scottish tablet. after lunch, which has a breathtaking view, they enjoyed one. coffee in the garden. also for a meal of the evening"

"We visited the hutbar and restaurant on October for a jubilee dinner. the business was just taken over by new owners. we sat fast and the room felt very safe as there was enough space in the winter garden. the location is beautiful and the new owners were very welcoming. we had steak pea and roast beef with all circumcisions. it was very tasty and the portion size was very good. we will definitely return and we would recommend a visit if they are in the opposite."

"Would give a review, except we can hear the toilet flushing in room above(in room in The Stables), as well as footsteps above us all night. Family possibly had a child or dog, and we were permanently awake from Raised the issue with staff, but nothing could be done. Despite this, I would return. Staff were good, really friendly and accommodating, location is breathtaking, whisky bar is reasonably priced, and excellent selection…everything about this place is quality, but we will only stay in main hotel, not the stables. They need better sound insulation in the ceiling I don’t want to hear people flushing if I’m in a a night room. You wouldn’t get that in a premier inn. The bed was super hard too, which was a shame. Overall, I would still highly recommend, but the Stables rooms need a few tweaks The food was good, not great, but we were told the main restaurant was closed due to COVID issues, only to notice when we got there that it was open?! Despite all these issues, I’m still impressed by the overall feel, and would still go back."
