We stopped on our journey for lunch and this place is on the main road. The service was very attentive and staff very happy. We ordered tea eith haddock and chips. We were given a large pot with real tea leaves plus extra hot water. The fish was enormous, cooked well with no bones and the batter was lovely and crispy. Terrible from start to finish! Service was ok but not very friendly, food was absolutely shocking. We got 2 toasties both of which were wafer thin made with the cheapest bread and totally tasteless! included was a token gesture of salad which was well past its sell by date and 3 stale tortilla crisps.
