What Kukulcandve likes about Glenfinnan House:
Restored house ambience that invites you to try small plate offerings. We had venison salami, chicken liver pate, home made breads, beet salad, et.al. This was a very pleasant surprise that is off the beaten path a bit near Glenfinnan tourist area. There are also nice views from the lawn areas. View all feedback.

We stayed her for one night and were very excited to see all the awards around the walls, so expected great food, our steak was certainly more rump than sirloin, the peppercorn sauce was thin and very acidic, almost like tomato soup, the onion rings did not resemble rings but were bits of batter deep fried in what tasted like dirty oil, roast vegetables looked grey and boiled. I stayed and ate here while working in Mallaig for a few days. The hostess was great and the food was amazing. Rooms are clean and cosy. Derek

The dining area of the establishment is equipped with chairs / tables, and there's a counter where you can sit down and eat. If the weather conditions are right, you can also eat outside, and for your baby or toddler, there is a baby high chair.
