every island needs such a place! the personal was welcoming, the cakes were excellent, and it is all located within a beautiful stone building near the piers! we had a nice hour sitting outside accompanied by a friendly female chaffinch who was hoping for crumbs, plus London-born islander, rosie, who was a mine of information we wished we had spent longer time sharing with! we're coming back! I was staying on Eigg and with the weather not looking great decided to take the MV Sheerwater across to Muck. We had a nice walk and then stopped off at the cafe. I couldn't choose between the lemon cake and the chocolate cake, so had a piece of both! There is plenty of seating outside.
