"A real gem of a place. Unassuming from the outside but amazing inside with original features, log fire and amazing views of the bay. Had a few drinks in the evening, didn't eat but back again for breakfast. If you're passing it's definitely worth a stop. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast"

"A family member picked me up lunch one day, “have you tried a crown deli salad box?” Well, it was totally not what I had expected! It was the nicest and most varied box with so many different elements and really good quality hot oak smoked salmon. So many different selections of veg, salads, grains, beans, a real treat. There are a good selection of types of salad boxes, salmon, crispy chicken, coronation chicken to name a few I’ve tried, they also have some awesome garlic mayo which was recommended to have alongside the crispy chicken, it’s fantastic. We were also told how nice the homemade sausage rolls are, they are dinky but so tasty. I have also recently tried a mocha in there, it has to be one of the best mochas I have had, it tastes like it’s made with really good quality chocolate. I’m so glad it was recommended to me as I had previously thought it was just like a deli counter, but I think the majority of trade is lunches etc. I have even recommended it onto so many other people it’s so good, it would be rude not to share it!"

"Today we visited Cafe Rose for breakfast/brunch. We had a full breakfast and an eggs florentine. Both were outstanding! Freshly cooked and excellent quality. Mushrooms not greasy with great little touches of herbs! A pleasure to eat. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be...visiting again soon. Thanks"

"We’ve been there before but it’s been refurbished beautifully and at first we thought it was closed from the outside. As it happens it was open, lovely bright, airy dining room. We went there cause one of our party is gluten intolerant and they had similar menu to the main one, excellent. The food was amazing, the presentation was stunning, even down to the crockery, some unusual pieces. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and the staff were so lovely and friendly. I must add that the place was spotless and it’s one of the cleanest toilets I’ve ever used, top marks for that, will recommend this little gem and we will be back, amazing"

"Lovely little cafe in the post office, what a great idea! Staff were really helpful, the full English consisted of 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 3 bacon, black pudding, mushrooms, beans, tomato, toast and some rocket. Top notch. Made even better with the government's 50% for Eat out to help out."
