We visited for lunch and received a warm welcome from Andy and his staff. All the food was presented lovely and was extremely tasty and fresh. The hotel decor is quite quirky and traditional. I would highly recommend a visit and would have liked to...have stayed longer. View all feedback.
What Ray Richards doesn't like about Pentland:
A nice hotel, a bit dated but offering a good service. The room was nice, the cold tap was an adventure, it would wait till you had all but given up, then surge and power shower from the sink! It got us every time. Breakfast...was great including fruit, cereal, porridge and a full Scottish, there were even Tunnocks Caramel Wafers in the basket with Alpen bars, whats not to like about that?? View all feedback.
Very few good choices in vegetarian/vegan options. Very disappointed. Cook needs plant-based / quorn options.
