Just found my notes on Violets that I did when I was there about six month ago... very welcoming greeting.. great smile. Limited food options but a sweet small cafe and pretty good coffee. Ordered a latte and scone which was served quickly, the coffe had a good flavour, colour and great micro foam. I really enjoyed it. I'm not in Frankton much or I'd definatly be a regular. Love this cafe. The family is always friendly and warm. Unlike franchise, the cafe has a unique vibe. No wonder so many locals turn up every time I go. Ka pai

"Been here a couple of times. The service is good and friendly. I've tried both the lunch and dinner. To be honest, there is a big difference between the two. At dinner time, the rice is fresh, curries are at the perfect consistency and filled with tender meat chunks. It's got a nice kick to it. However lunch is a big step down but I guess worth the 10-11 dollar price range.<br/>Will be visiting again for dinner. One of the best Indian restaurants in Hamilton."

"I only had a hot chocolate but it was the best one I have ever had and the only one I've had in years where the Barrista had actually stretched the milk so that it was silky smooth. So beautiful. I'm guessing that their coffee would be awesome too. I would have eaten there but all the seats were taken so I just got my drink to take away."
