wow! only wow! very nice lunch. I was sent here to lobster, but I saw the thick hand made newfoundland fishcake fried in rittern. the cakes.

great place to eat. fish n chips we the best. lobster was our favorite. it was very busy and a little loud, but landscape was great and personal friendly.

great eating and charming place. that was worth it. I wish they took credit cards, but we had to take money from their money.

Best seafood chowder in Newfoundland.This one has real seafood pieces and none of that potato starch thickening none-sense.Highly recommended.

"Amazing place! It was crazy rainy day when we pulled over to get some coffee and food. Inside was warm and inviting, full of local art! We had a delicious cod chowder and coffee. The owner made sure my coffee tastes exactly how I like it (I add white chocolate mocha for flavour . We had time for a nice chat about living in Newfoundland. The coffee shop has a small patio where you can enjoy a cup of good coffee when it's sunny. Extra bonus: the owner's playful friendly dog, you can throw him a ball if he lets you :"

"We stopped in days in a row while driving and hiking. Great variety of hot and cold coffees and lots of fabulous treats. Vegan brownie is in the top of all desserts I've ever had. Don't worry if you are not vegan, give...it a try. Owner was engaging and helpful in terms of hiking. Wish we were here longer, I'd go back again. Ps he also rents out a cute looking airbnb. Top marks!"

"We have eaten here two nights in a row. My wife enjoyed two rare opportunities to have a perfect lobster dinner. I had a fine scallop dinner the first time, then had the best seafood chowder I have had in 9 days on the island today, plus an excellent fish and chips. Seafood here is fresh, fresh, fresh. Service is good. Talk to Calvin at the lobster pool if you wish to choose your personal lobster. Not fancy, just friendly people serving great food."
