"We arrived at Sweet Cane Cafe quite famished after a morning of hiking in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. We ordered the chipotle black bean burger, subbing mac-nut spread for cheese, and the raw nori wrap. Both were delicious, filling, and made with super fresh ingredients. We tried a chocolate chip cookie, as well, which was a great treat to end the meal. If we had been in Hilo longer, we would have happily eaten here again!"

"Testsumen probably has the most authentic rarmen in hilo, but there is only 1 vegan rarmen option. they can add the vegan ramen with tofu/seawe broth or curry. the vegan spam is very unique. I added the "plenty sweet" to my for $4, so the total price was about $18 for a bowl. it is pricier here as others raven in the city, but the atmosphere is beautiful. it really gets busy after 6ish so plan accordingly"

"Just grossly overpriced for the portion size and quality. $20 for fish and chips. Says it should be for 2 people. But the fish are the size of chicken nuggets, I’ve never seen them that small. And some of the worst fries I’ve had, just soft and no flavor. My wife and I left hungry. Service was nice at least and the place was cute. But for the price, I would expect something either more tasty or at least filling."
