Chen's Chinese Kitchen - Hilo

I remember my first time at Chen's.... My God was amazing. My wife and I were immersed for the first time, I had the frying pork and my wife I had ribs, so I thought my food came in a normal size plate, but no it! when our food came out, I had a separable plate for my fried rice and a seperate plate for my viola wine and a decent shell Mac Salat. I also had my small empty plate filled with food and I could not help but stare at my food, it was a lot of food for a person.... Food was perfect, price was perfect and my wife enjoyed it. The service was on point.... in glad I went there.... it was amazing, definitly would recommend to anyone I know.

One of the most terrible places I've eaten so far! My family and I chose food from the steam table and the food was cold! My youngest got the orange chicken and it was not fresh at all. It was hard and had a lot of batter on it. My oldest daughter ordered a chicken sandwich meal and it was a piece of chicken katsu that was over cooked and burnt. The only thing that was decent was the french fries that came with the meal. We will not be eating there again!

From previous party... In front window, Rumor has it! We no eat there anymore.

The noodle and friend rice was good. The teryaki chicken and BBQ pork was not good. Was grissily and fatty with no good meat. The front lady was kind though.
