"The service was excellent the room was nice and comfortable, but I there is free water, and free , and free coffee and tea, with a also some fruit. The hotel is old butcher so the restaurant was fantastic, and overpriced as the cost was 110 euros per person but good enough. The place is amazing and the hiking spots surround the hotel, and so 10 out of 10. Perfect. The breakfast was cool too."

"Food was really not good, roast beef was overcooked and did not taste good. French fries were ok. The service was not good either, the waiter was quite rude and not nice with us. "Pretty cool.And a good mix between Italian and American diner imo. It really is different than the other Italian restaurants and most definitely not like in Italy. I thought that was a nice change/really interesting !:)Tasty food. Reasonable prices. Large portions.What's even better? They have various meat-y burger delights. And 2 meatfree options!(one without any animal products, the other vegetarian.) People craving meaty/cheesey stuff can get that and the vegan members of a group could also order a burger. And not just salads or chips."

"Once a year my former boss organizes a get together with his former direct reports. I was able to make it this year so I traveled from France to Olten. We met at some bar before we headed to Restaurant Salmen for an amazing dinner....Despite being Swiss, I gotten used to French prices so I found it very expensive but at the same time, I believe that it is for a Swiss restaurant of such quality a price that is ok. Given the quality of the food, it was more than worth it. I went for the set menu which included the starter, 2 main courses and a dessert for CHF 87.00. The salad with bacon and croutons was fantastic, the fish was moist but at the same time, cooked to perfection. The Swiss prime fillet was outstanding and cooked the way I wanted it. In Switzerland you do not need to be ashamed when you want it well-done (in France they look at you as if you were going to kill the cow again... . So a fantastic dinner, with great friends, in a great restaurant with very friendly and efficient service."
