The White Eagle Pub - Feedback

We had a few hours to burn before our ferry at nearby Holyhead so we found the White Eagle and popped in for dinner. This a cozy little inn nestled in a small village. This place gets rave reviews, so I was hoping for a better experience. It's lovely. The setting is gorgeous. The presentation of the building and food is amazing. The food and service, not so much. The servers acted like we were an annoyance, which was not my experience of Wales overall. Everyone everywhere was really friendly, so I am not sure what happened here.
