Maple Tree Inn - Homewood

The food is as good as it looks! Let me just say the owner Erin, who is a real uprising and was very generous enough to talk to me and my friend about great places and eat in Chicago. Very friendly and welcoming and its restaurant is really a wonderful place to immerse and get a taste of New Orleans. Also our waiter Jeanna was so phenomenal in the statement of the courts and helped us very much when we decided to choose. We go the fried chicken meal, which is only so rich with flavors and well prepared for definitely that! Also the Jambalaya is a true taste you get from New Orleans when you get so many different tasty varieties in a bowl! The crabcases were very good and had a mixture of bread and pecan that was so good was not expected that! For dessert we have the chocolate pecan bee with fruits above and it was one of the best desserts I ever had! Hurricanes are also a great drink. Really a great place to get a dish to get a taste of New Orleans! You will not promise to be disappointed that!

The last time I visited Maple Tree Inn was when it was in Blue Island. Today, and was amazed at everything. The ambience of the place was amazing, the staff was phenomenal, the food was great. This is definitely a place where I will come back to support. It is a busy place to make the reservation. Parking is not a problem of what I have seen, and it is located in a beautiful quiet area. I highly recommend it. Next time I have to try something from the Dessert menu. Some menu items may seem a bit expensive, but it is worth it.

The lighting and music is so good here. It used to be a breakfast restaurant, but I love the current place. The hours are limited 5pm-9pm so you have to make reservations!!! You can call or go to the website that they provide for reservation. You have a bar and the bartender is great. She makes the best drinks. Not only someone from the street is well trained what she does. The food is okay, ALL Cajun style. You have a shrimp and grits that's pretty good. My favorite dish was the bananas promoting bread pudding. This court was the best dessert I ever had in my life. They have complementary valet. You can dress up. It's a beautiful place for a romantic date.

Excellent food and experience. The service was great! We reserved two bars and were not disappointed. Food was amazing, coursing was excellent. Get the crab mornay and the corn shear!!

Ok. First time here and I fell in love as soon as I walked in. The ambiance is a 10/10, everything from the lighting to the fireplace. Our waiter (Joseph) was excellent, giving top notch service from start to finish....he was spot on. The food was excellent, I'll post pics on this review. I'll definitely be back.
