I'm not sure why I haven't reviewed Billy's before as we have eaten there quite a few times before today. It's a great stop off for a meal and coffee. Today we had a Billy's big breakfast, and Avocado on sourdough with 2 poached eggs, streaky bacon and a slice of black pudding. Absolutely awful. Coffee was disgusting, tea tasted funny. Staff were friendly enough, service was slow which would have been acceptable had the drinks been palatable. Asked on paying what we thought, told it was awful and sorry about that was response. Went as recommended by a friend.
