One of the best bars/café in Horta. Wonderful marina view, very affordable cocktails, delicious food and the nicest staff ever!

"The food was all very good and varied, with many varieties of white fish (and an octopus speciality if you want it half of us didn't) as well as very fresh vegetables grown in the owner's gardens. She also cooks it and serves, almost singlehandedly, hence the super woman title."

"No reservation policy so we arrived timely on Monday night. Cheese plate delicious. Shrimp appetizer had a coating that was not to my liking. The main dishes though were creative and wonderful matched by a terrific wine. We had 2 outstanding meals in the Azores and this was on of them. Service although slow was gracious. If we had had another night on the island we would have returned."

"Absolutely homemade treats!!! This little cafe makes all their delightful items from scratch. The spinach/cheese pastry was delicious, as was their quiche. If you stop on your cruise ship, this isn’t fancy, but the prices are great and the food is “Delicia”. Wine is 1Euro...per glass, and the savory pastries are about 2 each!"

"We stumbled across this gem while walking around and exploring Madalena. We each had a dessert (some kind of apple cake or tart, and a currant cake) and a galao and cappuccino. Everything was tasty and affordable. A nice spot to sit and relax, talk with friends we noticed a number of locals eating and catching up and enjoy a coffee or two. Good location, affordable, fast and friendly service."
