We have a strange feeling with this restaurant. My friend had a burger and it was really excellent big and really cheap for the quality. I had the fish which was rather expensive of course. But the fish was so badly cooked that it was only possible to eat the third of it. The rest was so hard it was impossible to eat it. I told it to the server but she said it is like that ! At the end, they charged us for the bread... View all feedback.
Very good soup, Tuna was perfect, tasty wine and Espresso, delicious dessert.
O restaurante ideal para comer fora de portas (Faial) na Horta. Vista deslumbrante e comida de eleição.
The restaurant is in the middle of the farmland of Faial! The view is amazing, the food is also excellent! Portions are big, if you eat entrees, better to share a dish! We went there twice, and the only downer was the service that the owner was not really talkative... But this was not really important to us...
The products are fresh and really tasty. Big doses and good house wine. It is a bit noisy, small area with a lot of people. Good to eat in the terrace, if you are a couple and you would like to talk a bit, I suggest to choose the terrace, and not to eat inside. If you would like to have good dishes, and flavours of Feial, that's the best spot!
If you're faith in Azorean food is to its low, visit Pasquinha. We stopped here for lunch during our van tour with Pedro and oh my word! The food was just amazing, homemade and all local. The soup was delicious (even with the hot sunny weather) and the tuna steaks! Just go and try some! Make sure you get a table outside, facing the view of the ocean and the valley underneath.
