"Die kleine Bäckerei "Bico Doce" in einer Seitenstraße gegenüber der Marina in Horta verfügt weder über ein gemütliches Ambiente noch sind die Plastikstühle besonders bequem, aber dafür ist die angebotene Auswahl an Gebäck, Brot und Snacks durchaus beeindruckend - ebenso wie die unglaublich günstigen Preise.Auch wenn die Verständigung mit Händen und Gesten erfolgte, die Thekenkraft war sehr freundlich und geduldig und die leckeren Gebäckteilchen entschädigten für so manches Kommunikationsproblem.Also einfach hingehen, auf das gewünschte Gebäck zeigen und genießen."

"Omg the experience is horrible, low quality of food and bad atmosphere inside the restaurant. I had no choice but to choose this overrated restaurant for my dinner since many good restaurants were closed on Monday. When I entered the restaurant, I felt uncomfortable, it’s...very dark with outdated decoration. But I still felt good with the concept since I have tried some good ones in mainland Portugal. My husband and I ordered 2 plates of beef accompany with simple salads and a bowl of fries. The waitress has given us a set of sauces and the burning stone without any plate to let us cut our meats! We have to cut our meats either on the stone or a small area next to the stone, that is unbelievable! The meats often got burnt by staying too close to the stone. Besides, I was sweating so much because of the poor ventilation! As for the meats, there were chewy and no seasoning at all, even the sauces and the fries! I wonder how can everything goes so wrong in this restaurant?! Azorean beef supposed to be super juicy and tender even with a bit of salt on top. Worst experience ever! Waste of money and time! You have many other good restaurants in the island with high quality of food and better price."

"We fought to find somewhere to eat on Sunday night and settled in this restaurant and were very glad that we did. We couldn't get a table until late (9:30) and had only one main course. The Tomahawk-Steak catches our eye and so we ordered one to share. It was fabulous, tasty and juicy, delicious in your mouth. Probably expensive and worth a visit."
