"It started with some disappointment. Although the menu says that the vegetarian burger can be made vegan, the waitress told me that they were not able to do it this night because they did not have the bread to replace the “Bolo levedo” (like an English muffin with eggs and cream). I ask her if it was possible to have it on a plate and she said yes. The patty was delicious, but it lacked a bit of texture. The sweet potato fries were delicious!"

"We stumbled across this gem while walking around and exploring Madalena. We each had a dessert (some kind of apple cake or tart, and a currant cake) and a galao and cappuccino. Everything was tasty and affordable. A nice spot to sit and relax, talk with friends we noticed a number of locals eating and catching up and enjoy a coffee or two. Good location, affordable, fast and friendly service."
