Always a great meal place was pumping on a Friday night with music trivia out at the main bar area and peace and calm inside the dining room. Bit of a hidden gem often overlooked by tourists who kick themselves when they discover it right near the caravan park! View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about Howard Springs Tavern:
I don't get this place great venue, but some of the staff are just rude and eating is terrible sweet were from a frozen bag that steak didn't taste right and the gravy just didn't taste like everything I gave him a few goes now and until there is a management change and cooking change, I won't be back View all feedback.

"Smith Street Social is a beautiful venue with a lot of potential, but it seems like both the staff and kitchen don't cope under pressure. There was a function on upstairs so I maybe they put all their effort there to ensure the people upstairs had a great night. Unfortunately if they can't successfully run the core business at the same time as a function, they're better off just doing one or the other. We'd booked a table, but waited a long time to even speak to a staff member to find out where our table was. The staff seemed awkward, inexperienced, and reluctant to be there I didn't see any one of them smile at us or any other customer. Our meals took 50 minutes to come out and at no point during that time did anyone communicate with us that the wait would be so long. The barra was decent, but the burger arrived cold and very dry. Basically: I wouldn't recommend. There's too many great pubs and restaurants and even food trucks in Darwin to spend 50 minutes and $26 for a cold dry burger from unsmiling staff."

"We went to this seafood buffet last week as I saw other reviews comments. It turned out to be truly good experience. There are plenty yummy food, chili crabs, tiger prawns, and a variety of other yummy Asian and Australian food. Good value for $41.5...per head for dinner. I have no hesitation to recommend this restaurant. We sat outside, and enjoyed nice harbor view without out interruptions. We will come back if we ever go to Darin again."
