I spent hours in Cafe del Sol on Saturday with my date. The location is remote, but easy to find by car. It offers a big parking lot. Inside, it looks like a Mexican Cafe. It offers a lot of seats. If it wouldn't...have been so cold, I am sure, I could have sit outside as well. The staff is attentive and friendly. There is a variety of food. The Pizza looked good. But I ordered the Chicken Cajun Wrap. You can order a... View all feedback.
What Harri Reuter doesn't like about Cafe del Sol:
childbirth day with 10 people. all hungry from day and 2 hours waiting for eating. when the food comes the catastrophe was complete - there was something to eat at home for the happiness. written in the order of my daughter. she's not going to go View all feedback.
The food was very tasty unfurtonarly the waiters where very lost. After finishing our meal which was above average and for a decent price. After finishing the meal they arrived again with the same thing we had ordered and allready eaten. Which was actually quiet...funny.
The building is nicely designed and conveniently located. Unfortunately this does not reflect in the quality of the drinks and the food. The cocktails are for the prices very watery and nothing special, and the food is nearly always just re-fried frozen and does not...suit the concept that the design of the location tries to convey.
The place is what I would describe as a stopover: they meet their friends to have some drinks and move to the next place. that's okay! if you want to eat something, it might come to a problem as it takes some time and. Michelin star is very unlikely to be in richness.
I have tried the cafe del sol a few times with the hope that it will correspond to one day my expectations from the building style (especially the terrace), as it seems, it should be a casual, relatiw fast and upbeat experience. that's not eating. a murderer; it's average. the biggest problem is the personal. as mentioned by others, the service is slow and disorganized, which is not a deal breaker, per se. the last time there was the last deal breaker. a waiter who served our food (although friendly) had a complete hygiene no.: he wore these braided fabric bracelets, and the old and ratty ending pulled through our food when he picked up our teller from his servier floor. by the look of this bracelet it had gone through many meal times (and probably many other things! it was dirty looking.) then, our waiter, after another unusual behavior repeatedly behave the man I ask with about payment methods as I paid. for example: I had asked about the bill and had my hand out to take it (full with my wallet and credit card in my other hand,) but he made a point to go around me and give it to my companion who clearly did not pay. it is really strange if the waiter asks the non-paying dinner guest if he wants an entry from his credit card when someone else pays (a little one)! apparently he thinks that women are only trained monkeys who pay for the men as a maintenance factor. I spoke to the waiter and ignored everything I said; only if my dinner attendant was testified as he had nothing to do with the payment, the waiter finally listened to a word I said about payment details. if this waiter will work in Germany, he had better classes (or something) about the contempt against women. so it was the perfect end to cement my decision: never again!
We had constantly remind staff that we need make to make our order and we finally ordered food and drinks it took them very long time to get them to us.
