"Located in an alley off the Limatquai, just up-river from the Rathaus. Charming old world, French country decor, casual and friendly. We had a wonderful onion soup and a mixed grill of seafood with ratatouille. Simple preparation and very good, friendly and attentive service. Outdoor patio, indoor tables, and a cute bar separated from the restaurant so very cozy. Mid range price, so for this neighborhood in the Altstadt of Zurich a real nice discovery."

"We waited almost an hour to order, rather too long I thought. But nice decor, good atmosphere, excellent staff, but a bit understaffed the night we were there. Being South African I just had to order the South African burger and although it was really nice (especially since I was hungry after waiting so long to order) I didn't see what made it South African. A little Mrs Ball's chutney would have done the trick, or some spicy chakalaka. Parking is also problematic, probably best to use public transport. All in all well worth a visit but don't expect an authentic South African burger."

"Went with a couple of friends and we had a great meal. The burgers are all freshly cooked and the chips were proper chips. None of these skinny American french fries, with no potato inside. The brownie was also lovely.The restaurant is easy to get to and although it looks small, I didn't feel cramped when seated. The only downside for me was that when I got home I could smell the cooking smells on my clothes, but that is probably because where they cook the burgers is not tucked away but right there in the seating area."
