"Five of us wandered in three minutes before kitchen close and were welcomed to order food. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our soups and some local beers on tap. The staff were friendly and the ambiance is exactly what you’d expect, and hope for, from a mountain tavern. Not often a person to leave reviews but the previous few were not our experience at all. We’ll definitely be back when in Hobart!"

"Spectacular view with an inviting outdoor eating area it is so beautiful. The Menu reads ok, nothing screams out get in my belly . I had the special pork cutlet it was cooked to perfection. Yum! There isnt any specific kids meals (there is fish chips adult size). I think kids are tolorated. This is a shame as the venue lends itself to a perfect exploring place for kids but i do understand not every venue must be kids friendly. (nb they have high chairs). We had a perfect lunch. Kids are chips went off to play while adults ate their lunch in tranquility. We were keen on dessert but again nothing that tempted us over the line to order it."

"Exactly what we needed after a snowy trip to mount wellington. migrated and sniffed the last table near the kamin (which mentioned it well to book on advanced when they want to sit inside! . had waited for about 15 minutes for eating. some marked vegan dinge on the menu that was good to see. my partner and I both have the potato and artichoke oven. was a crazy! the heap purée was seriously delished with all roasted vaggaries."
