I absolutely do NOT recommend Taeys Valley Hospital... awful hospital... my mom was there as a covid patient and they didn't do anything for her!! plus we had to fight them tooth and toe nail to get her moved to a better hospital View all feedback.

"Lots of really great restaurants in this area, but Fairways is probably my favorite!! We started with the Ahi Tuna appetizer -which we order anytime we see it on a menu- and this was absolutely delicious, some of the best we've ever had. My husband ordered the Mahi Mahi (which was so very good I've tried to recreate it 3 times already I had the filet medallions we both had the Greek side salad. Portions perfect, not so large we had to feed leftovers to the dogs, but enough to snack on later at the hotel. They have a huge menu and great variety. Prices were pretty standard. Clean and cute, great service. Definitely recommend will go back!!"

"Had lunch 10/14/22, waited 1 hour 30 minutes due to the fact that they had only a Hibachi cook. He was finally finished with the 4 people next to us and came to our section 30 minutes later. He was nice, but his kitchen was terrible, the salt was so unbearable that we couldn't eat the food. Lunch menu was 73.00 for 3 people. Was reported to waitress and waiter and was well told we go through cooks and have a hard time to find. Well, if they use so much salt products used in our food, I see why. My first visit and never again. My niece from South Carolina paid for the meal because she was excited to get us out. She was so embarrassed by food and apologised us over and over, but it wasn't her fault. The employees never offered various food and manager support. We went and went to Dairy Freeze for some great tasting food. Wouldn't recommend this place at all and it was dirty. Had to tell the cook to clean the hot plate before they cook because it was dirty from the drops out the openings above. The health dept must go to this place and clean them. My sister with high blood pressure would have been in great health problems if she had eaten her food this day, she would definitely have been in the ER. Never visit again and I would give this place 10 stars if I could go for health depth in asap. The bathroom was bad. Ask for extra low sodium or no sodium for anything because you can always add, but do not take away once cooked...."

"Based on a recommendation from a coworker I went to the Dunbar WV The Pitch . First impressions were good because I 'd never seen the sports complex at Dunbar and it seemed like a good setup with a nice looking property elevated above the swimming pool and sport fields. I sat outside on the rear deck overlooking the rest of the complex where it seemed a bit lacking in atmosphere for a Friday evening around 6pm (only two other tables had patrons). My server handed me a tiny, one-page, laminated menu and she asked me what I 'd like to drink. I couldn 't see any beer or drinks on the menu and I asked to see the drinks menu but there wasn 't one. Instead, she told me to scan in a QR code on my phone. It was hopeless because the link was to the Untapped App which requires installation and registration to view the selections. I asked for a draft Yuengling because I know pretty much everywhere in the area sells it. Nope, not at The Pitch. The only selections were $6-$8 craft beers and I ended up with a random $7/16oz IPA. Nothing looked all that inspiring on the menu and I picked the chips with queso and pulled pork appetizer and a hot dog for entree. The appetizer had standard triangle shaped corn chips which were mostly too large to dip in the two tiny disposable plastic cups of queso. This appetizer amounted to less food than you get as the complimentary chips and salsa at all the local Mexican restaurants. At The Pitch, this sub par starter was $5. The entrees came with their in-house thick potato chips and the only potato alternative was waffle fries so I stuck with the potato chips. The thick chips could be a nice idea but these came smothered in a dusty, salty rub. I have never tasted food so salty. The hot dog could also have been decent but they must have chosen the saltiest sausage possible to pair with that salty chip rub. What I don 't understand is why they ruin what could be OK food.
