At the first meal of this BBQ. Fast, friendly staff. Had a chopped brisket sandwich with their homemade frits.. Brisket was delicious big taste and the frits too?. I got the sweet tea, but wasn't sweating so little disappointed. would be 5 stars, but the tea was not sweating, and my original order was not chopped a cut bride. Great food and service. Very friendly staff here. The food was good a bit dry though, but the sauce was good. I got the brisket, sausage, cabbage and green beans (top tray in pic) . The cabbage tasted really good too. View all feedback.
Compared to other BBQ houses, this place is a cut above the others. The BBQs and sides are well prepared. The staff are friendly, and the place is clean and well-lit, with good air conditioning.Like most BBQ places, you stand in line and order buffet style. There is no wait or table service. (It was nice to see that there was NOT an option to leave a tip at the checkout. I tip only for table wait service).
This is some of the best BBQ I've ever had. I got the 2 meat plate, brisket and chicken. Both were very moist and full of flavor! The spicy potatoes and the coleslaw were better than my grandma's! I'm speechless!Parking: Plenty of parking!
Food is good although this location likes to trim the bark off of the brisket. That’s the best part! The sides are good and the service is always really good. One one the better bbq joints in the H-E-B areaFood: 4/5
I ordered online and my order was pretty much ready besides the drink, and two of the sides they had to put in my bad. My guess is so it’s fresh. I got the Out of Site Special (chopped beef sandwich with two sides of Texas corn and ranch beans), a turkey kids meal with fried okra and a drink, banana pudding, and small side of Mac n cheese. The turkey and beef were flavorful and juicy, the fried okra was top tier, and corn was good as well. The ranch beans and Mac n cheese was lacking in flavor a bit but cooked well. Definitely will be back if I’m over on that side of town:l.
Their sign advertises “ not stingy on meat”, well that’s a lie! Look at my photo- 2 “meat” plate is about as much meat put together as the size of the soggy Texas toast. Brisket was tender but had absolutely no flavor and server had to cut fat off before serving. That should have been done prior to smoking. Pulled pork was just ok. Sausage had a good flavor but we couldn’t chew through the casing. Creamed corn was out of a can with a hot spice added. The free ice-cream was the best part. Overall we were not impressed! We won’t be back..Parking: They have space for semi trucks but truckers please don’t stop to eat here! You will have paid way too much for buffet flavored food.
