"Never got in to try Danny D's, but glad I stopped in to try Soulman's! Very casual, cafeteria style selection process, where all the sides look so good on the steam tables, that it's hard to choose. My first visit, I had the Soul Bowl, which is a little bit of everything in one pile. Sausage, Pulled Pork, Beans, Cheese and Peppers all piled on top of a plate of Fritos sounds like my college days! I went back a second time to try the Brisket and the Ribs, and settled on Fried Cabbage and Spicy Potatoes for my sides. Both meats were well above average, but my favorite was the Spicy Potatoes! Well seasoned home fries with Onion, Peppers and plenty of Pepper made them as good a side dish as I've had at a BBQ joint!"

"Had a family reunion to celebrate the life of my dad and uncle and we knew exactly whom to call to feed everyone, because of the people and food. My dad would go and get this food almost weekly and would rave about them. When we would come over we would order and go get the food or go to the store and eat there. My grandfather loved this place as well. My family thanks you for what you do and keep smoking that good brisket. PS the banana pudding was gone before the brisket LOL"

"Enjoyed getting a few drinks with a best friend. She and were catching up and split a nachos and then got a single taco as a snack while we waited for the rain to go away. They also serve little hot sauce cups so if you want something a bit spicy, they got your options. I would recommend this delicious spot."
