Was an awesome place... The pizza was excellent as well as the service. We got a BBQ chicken pizza, wish I had gotten a traditional pizza sauce pizza to start, because it was a 10/10 and I feel like that would have been even better View all feedback.
What Chris doesn't like about Beau Jo's Idaho Springs:
I have always enjoyed getting out of the city for a few hours and stopping by here to get some good pizza but this last time I went, the quality of the food has gone downhill. The pizza was missing ingredients it was supposed to have, it was light on toppings and the crust was super dry and blah, even with the honey. Totally disappointing. I will say though, I did have the best service I’ve ever had there or at any r... View all feedback.
Visiting from Austin, Texas! We were told to come here by some folks at Georgetown Loop Railroad and we were not disappointed. To start, the side salads were fresh and extremely tasty! We got a Motherlode pizza on mountain crust and it was incredible. The honey on the table for the crust was a nice touch and super tasty. We’ll definitely be back!
If you're trying to figure out what Colorado style pizza is this is the place. The pizza was awesome hot and fresh and even took home a few slices and it was still amazing. Loads of flavor, loves drizzling the honey on the pizza crust. The bartender was dope, and helpful in choosing the first experience item. The Hawaiian is magical ..
We LOVED this place! The stuffed mushrooms pizza were absolutely Delicious! We were hesitant when they told us about the Honey on the Crust bit.... but they sure know what they are talking about! Highly recommend this place.
Gailen was an awesome server. Extremely friendly and offered great suggestions. Food here is amazing. The baked mushrooms were some of the best I've ever had. The pizza is amazing, and the honey with the crust is to die for. Some of the best pizza I've ever had.
This 50 year old restaurant in a building from the 1800s is a really cool setting for a delicious meal. Being the original Beau Jo 's, it definitely gives you the feeling of being somewhere special, somewhere with history. Aside from the really cool structure and setting, the service was spectacular. Our server gave us a plethora of information about the history of the restaurant and even the building. He did that all while providing great service. The pizza did take a bit longer to arrive than we were hoping, but the restaurant is huge and was pretty full during our visit. We had ordered the 50th anniversary Luau pizza with the Mountian crust, which is designed to be a sweet treat (you add honey to it) after you finish your pizza slice. The pizza was some of the best I 've had. The setting was really neat the service was so good, I would go here regularly, if it was closer. This is one of my top pizza restaurants I 've ever eaten at.
