"You might not stop at this roadside restaurant, but it would be a mistake. A classy and simple interior, kind and polite staff not to mention the food. For starter a trio of tomatoes, well seasoned and tasty and frog legs that melt in your mouth. The mains were the famous eels and trio of fish - all fresh, properly seasoned and beautifully served. Delicious chocolate cake, and small cookies for dessert. A real treat. Not to mention that the kids menu is a real plate with a fish and potato puree - looks like a grownup plate just a smaller option, not the usual chicken and fries you get. The waitress was very nice and had a good approach to children. A wonderful meal."

"5 stars for the desserts, especially for the meringues. It's their specialty and make excessive use of it, it's divine. 5 stars also for the service, both for the waitress and for a woman who seems to be the manager. On the other hand, 1 star for pancakes and galettes. Not up to the rest. Very small pancakes, very little garnished, just to stick to the price which is very low. I think that's a miscalculation. It is better to make a cake for €12-15 and make it a success than to make it for €7 and the customer be disappointed."

"We ate outside with our 2 children. Nice sunny setting set back from road. Food was good, I had sole on the bone and my husband had a steak cooked perfectly. Nice wine recommended by waitress who was very helpful and friendly. We had a lovely meal on our last night in St. Jean de Monts."

"Nous avons mangé le midi dans ce restaurant. L'ambiance est chaleureuse. On le ressent avec l'accueil de la patronne et du serveur. Nous avons mangé des moules, une planche....petit bémol pour les moules au curé nantais qui n'ont pas.de.goût. sinon tout était parfait. A refaire"
