I mean, wowBooked a lunchtime visit with a client and this place blew me away.
(This restaurant seems to have changed hands since I went, but the food still looks amazing!) This is one of my favourite restaurants in North Devon.

"Biffen does a variety of dishes on different days of the week ie katsu curry thursday and friday and moroccan wraps saturday and sunday. all dishes i’ve tried from biffen have been amazing using fresh ingredients and local produce. always a vegan option and even vegan garlic mayo to go with the potato puffs which are absolutely worth a try !"

"We called at 2.30 a.m. and unfortunately no one answered to take the reservation, so the booking ended somewhere else. After the alternative option had proven to be non-so-ideal, we tried to get through the new inn and were happy enough to get a table. our evening then took a dramatic turn for the better. justin and julia were the most perfect host and so inviting. we sat at a nice, cozy table, they explained the extensive menu in detail and were attentive to our needs. we had to start the Turkish carrots (this was simply sublime, then a special of hake and the cannon (so tasty and with chips, kartoffels and much veg- everything cooked to perfection! . for dessert we had honey ice cream, which was again super tasty and a huge part! fantastic meal, beautiful environment and the perfect gassers. wish that we were longer in the opposite to try other dishes again! cannot recommend enough. thanks for a perfect evening"
