"Just stopped here for a coffee break here recently. Very friendly staff and great service. Very welcoming also of international guests. Very nice terrasse with great view on the lake on a sunny day. The food menu looked decent, will go and try next time."

"Das Horseshoe bzw. Schöntal ist eines der besten Restaurants, welches wir im Kanton Schwyz haben. Es handelt sich hierbei um "gut bäuerliche Küche". Das Restaurant Schöntal wurde sehr schön renoviert, es ist sehr gemütlich und authentisch. Die Cordon Bleus sind super fein, ein Geheimtipp ist jedoch das Fleisch auf dem heissen Stein *lecker*. Nach einem feinen Essen kann man dann in der Raucherbar nebenan noch einen Schlummi nehmen. Oben hat es noch tolle Sääle für spezielle Anlässe. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall immer wieder!!"

"We're here now. pour a snack coffee in the self-service area. the girl at the self service billing counter is very rude. my daughter asked for water that she had rejected, although we were commending. the (Asian/Chinese) cook was very obliged to have asked my daughter yrs to get a glass so he can give lead water, but she cried on him. then he finally has water after a few markets, but this is really bad swiss hospitality. time mai"

"The restaurant with the worst service from waitress in Switzerland. Food is good and the cocktail is delicious. There is a kid corner and beautiful lake view. Unfortunately all was ruined by the super rude waitress name Evelyn (what she told us, she is not Polish). She brought the food and asked us who ordered it and can‘t wait for 30 SECOND until we remembered the name of the dishes to tell her. She almost threw the plates on our table and left. When I complained she said she had no time, too many customers to serve. Hey, is it my problem as a customer? Completely arrogant and no manner. We didn’t receive any apology from the restaurant even though other waiter, waitress were there and witnessed it. We came here a few times and it’s our favourite place but but will be the last time we come to this restaurant. Pity but the service is too bad. It happen around 7pm on Sunday 9 July, 2023. We are a group of 4 adults 4 kids sitting next to the kid corner. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4"
