"When the manger tells the new employee that he didn't put nearly enough meat in the sandwich after it was run up right in front of the customer (me) I expect the sandwich to be re done and made correctly instead of proceeding to finish it and get me out the door. Also, please ask for payment while I'm not in the middle of explaining my sandwich to the employee. Hurrying to pay while the other is waiting on me. Terrible service and what looked to be the manager was extremely rude."

"Great food that is reasonably priced. Not a lot of places to eat in Independence, but this one is pretty good. Had the chicken tacos and cheese quesadilla and ceviche and all were great."

"Quaint little campground with country charm. New owner who is very personalble AND accomodating. Price to stay is extremely reasonable. Really friendly residents which is most sites. Stream runs thru middle of CG, when it's stocked, offers bountiful trout! I heard good bass fishing nearby. Great view nestled up to Sierras. The restaurant and bar are closed. Spaces are small, no picnic tables at sites, but most have shade and great hook ups. Easy on/off 395 south of Big Pine."

"Stop for the night and breakfast in the morning. Our food was delicious I had the waffle chicken bacon egg sandwich and my wife had French toast eggs and bacon it was so juicy and for a good price. Can't wait to stop here again. Like half truck parking."

"Had a chance to sit and have the special of the day. Excellent, not your mother's cheese sandwich. Cool place to sit and a relaxing time for lunch or dinner. Only had lunch and servers were welcoming, thoughtful and attentive. Opens seasonal but worth the time. It offers a bar to the dinning room and a terrace. Store with RV and range of products for fishing and camping. Bought a water hose regulator adapter and looking for another fishing stick hanging on the wall. The latter works great to let me fish in her pond. I didn't find the time to regret it."
