"We just happened to find this restaurant and were SO pleased. The people were friendly, the service was fast and efficient and the food was excellent! Some of the sauces were different that what we get in CA, but they were very, very good. I highly recommend this restaurant. Keep in mind, they are busy!!"

"We were in interlaken west so that this restaurant was a little from the beaten away for us; but it was really just a 20 minute walk. the walk on the river was beautiful. the way was well lit so there was no problem going back in the darkness. the restaurant is located on the other side of the river of interlaken out, so they can also take the bus there and go the rest of the way. it was a warm evening, so we decided to eat outside, with a beautiful view of the mountain. I ordered the navratan corma (vegetaric) and my parter ordered the fish cure. I was very impressed by a lot of vegetarian options on the menu, as I don't eat meat, huh or muddle. both dishes were exceptional and the portions were generous. the server was very nice and accommodating. we have asked for medium-sized flavors that are quite sharp after American standards, but not according to Indian standards (my son in the law is Indian, so I have experience with Indian food). the spicy was good for us, but if they are not used to eat Indian food outside the usa, they might think is something too spicy. we would have liked to try the naan, but we were not quite hungry enough, so we chose the Basmati rice. btw, an order of reis is a lot for two people. highly recommended."

"We were staying for a week on a Thomson half-board deal, so had a set menu with choices. We noticed that some of our choices were not available on the general menu. Nearly all that we ate was of a very good standard, both in presentation and enjoyability. Staff were friendly and helpful and very willing to lend their experience of the food and drinks. On the last night of our stay we were surprised (and pleased!) to be told that what we drank with our meal was "on the house" - although we are not sure if this was a courtesy extended to all guests. The restaurant also appeared to be very popular with non-residents; although the hotel guests had the benefit of reserved tables."
