"A lively restaurant/bar in a safe location. A popular place for locals and tourists, the food and service is good at a consistent level. It is very busy so sit back and relax and enjoy the afternoon or the evening. I spend 2 weeks every April in Interlaken and this is my favorite stop. This is a high energy operation and you will see that the owner/brauenmeister Shepy on the ground keeps everything smoothly as possible. The servers and bartenders are always on the run and I love the energy level. I'll be there in 2024 if you happen to be there until the bar and a cold one with me."

"Some of the employees understand German very poorly! We ordered mineral water and received tap water. Unfortunately, the wine was far too cold (approx. 4 degrees) and therefore had very little taste. The ambience and decor is nice. The food was ok, but lacked spice. Unfortunately the balance of taste was not there. The employees walked around the restaurant very unsteadily and sometimes without a plan. This seemed very nervous and uncomfortable."

"This is at least my third visit to this restaurant over a number of years. It's the only one I really want to return to in Interlaken. Pleasant venue, nice staff, good food, and a short walk from Interlaken Ost. Never any groups when I've been there. I love sitting on the terrace next to the Japanese garden.Yesterday I had a delicious special of the day. Great value for only Sfr 19.50: gazpacho, a side salad, and a chicken leg barbecued dry on a bed of quinoa, with a few zucchini and pepper pieces. Good for dining alone or with others."
